Boyce Thompson Arboretum

Boyce Thompson Arboretum (BTA), an independent non-profit organization, is located just outside of Phoenix, Arizona. At 343 acres, it is the largest and oldest botanical garden in the state of Arizona and holds a collection of more than 20,000 plants from around the world. We are home to "Mr. Big" a Red River Gum Eucalyptus tree. We are also on the national Register of Historic Places, with many historic buildings on site. We are also named "Most Enchanting" Audubon Important Birding Area, with 275 species sited.

We are a small but mighty team and are welcoming to all. We are located in beautiful Superior, AZ with wildlife and natural beauty surrounding us. Our seasonal volunteers and our team members are treated like family. Many times our host volunteers make strong connections with each other and create lasting friendships.

RV sites with full hook-ups provided. We also offer free laundry and showers onsite. 50 Watt electrical provided and septic.
