What Is the Download Portal?
The WorkCampConnect Download Portal is a curated library of resources for work campers. You’ll find guides, checklists, templates, reference documents, and other helpful files to support your work camping journey.
Base Camp vs. Full Hookup Access
- Base Camp (Free) — You can browse the portal and see what resources are available, including titles, descriptions, and categories. However, downloading files, saving bookmarks, rating resources, and accessing your personal library all require Full Hookup.
- Full Hookup (Paid) — Full access to browse, download, bookmark, rate, and organize resources in your personal library.
Browsing Resources
Navigate to the Download Portal from your dashboard sidebar. You’ll see a grid of available resources. Each resource card shows:
- Resource title and description
- File type (PDF, DOCX, etc.)
- Category
- Download count and average rating
Filtering and Sorting
Use the tools at the top of the portal to find what you need:
- Category filter — Browse by resource type (guides, checklists, templates, etc.).
- Sort by — Sort by newest, most downloaded, highest rated, or alphabetical.
- Search — Search by keyword to find specific resources.
Viewing Resource Details
Click on any resource to see its full detail page, including:
- Complete description
- File size and format
- Download button (Full Hookup only)
- Rating and bookmark options (Full Hookup only)
Downloading a Resource
On the resource detail page, click the Download button to save the file to your device. Downloads are available to Full Hookup members only. If you’re on Base Camp, you’ll see a prompt to upgrade.
