Getting Started with the Community Forum

Welcome to the Community Forum

The WorkCampConnect Community Forum is the heart of our member community. It’s where work campers share experiences, ask questions, swap tips, and help each other navigate the lifestyle. Whether you’re a first-timer or a seasoned full-timer, the forum is the best place to connect.

Accessing the Forum

Your forum account is created automatically when you register on WorkCampConnect. To access it:

1. Click Community Forum in your dashboard sidebar, or visit the forum directly from the main navigation.
2. If prompted to log in, use the same email and password you use for WorkCampConnect.
3. You’ll arrive at the main board index showing all available discussion boards.

Browsing Discussion Boards

The forum is organized into boards by topic. Some boards are open to all members, while others are exclusive to Full Hookup subscribers. Each board shows:

• The board name and description
• Number of topics and replies
• The most recent post

Base Camp members can browse and post in general discussion boards. Full Hookup members unlock access to exclusive boards with premium content and discussions.

Creating a New Topic

To start a new discussion:

1. Navigate to the board where your topic fits best.
2. Click the New Topic button.
3. Enter a clear, descriptive subject line.
4. Write your message in the text editor. You can format text, add links, and insert images.
5. Click Post to publish your topic.

Replying to Topics

Found a discussion you want to join? Scroll to the bottom of any topic and use the reply box to add your thoughts. You can also quote other members’ posts to reference specific points.

Base Camp vs. Full Hookup Forum Access

• Base Camp (Free) — Access to general discussion boards, ability to create topics and reply to posts.
• Full Hookup (Paid) — Everything in Base Camp plus exclusive member-only boards with premium discussions, advanced tips, and insider content.

Forum Etiquette

Help keep the forum welcoming for everyone:

• Be respectful and constructive in your posts.
• Stay on topic within each board.
• Search before posting — your question may already have been answered.
• Report any inappropriate content using the Report link on any post.
