Anarchist Protected Area
British Columbia
Anarchist Protected Area was established to provide increased representation of low elevation forests that are under-represented in the protected area system, including Douglas fir and ponderosa pine. The area will also protect a number of red and blue listed plant and bird species and is not, therefore, a recreational destination. Public access is extremely limited.
