In the summer months, Columbia Lake Park is a popular spot for swimmers, windsurfers, canoeists, kayakers and motorized water craft. The 2,758 hectare lake is the largest warm water lake (18°C in July) in the East Kootenay region.The park also offers excellent opportunities for hiking, biking, nature viewing and photography. Fishing on Columbia Lake is popular year-round.
