Goose Bay Conservancy
British Columbia
Goose Bay Conservancy was established as part of government’s land use decision for the Central Coast planning area. Located near the mouth of Rivers Inlet, this conservancy consists of a deep bay and numerous islands. The area is a historic fishing hotspot. Property in Goose Bay was surveyed in 1915 and subsequently developed shortly thereafter with a cannery and fishing base camp, which have since been abandoned.
