What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) processed securely through Square.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. All payments are processed through Square, a PCI-compliant payment processor. WorkCampConnect never stores your full card number. Your payment data is encrypted and handled entirely by Square.
When am I charged?
You’re charged immediately when you subscribe. After that:
- Monthly — You’re charged on the same date each month.
- Yearly — You’re charged once per year on your subscription anniversary.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing?
If you’d like to switch your billing cycle, contact support and we’ll help you make the change. Switching to yearly saves you $17.90 per year compared to monthly billing.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancellation is fully self-service. Go to your Dashboard, click Membership & Billing, and use the Cancel Subscription button. It’s instant — no need to contact support. See How to Cancel Your Subscription for the full walkthrough.
What is your refund policy?
We offer a 3-day full refund policy. If you cancel within 3 days of your payment, contact support to request a full refund. After the 3-day window, monthly subscribers keep access until the end of their billing period (no refund), and yearly subscribers keep access until their year ends (refunds considered case-by-case). What if I paid for the full year and want to cancel?
You can cancel anytime from your Dashboard — it’s self-service. You’ll keep Full Hookup access for the rest of your paid year. If you’re within the 3-day refund window, you can get a full refund by contacting support. After that, if you’d like to discuss a partial refund for unused months, contact support — we handle yearly refunds on a case-by-case basis.
My card was declined. What should I do?
Make sure your card details are correct and that there are sufficient funds. If the problem persists, try a different card or contact your bank. You can also contact support for assistance.
Is there a free trial?
There’s no free trial for Full Hookup, but the Base Camp plan is completely free forever. You can use Base Camp to explore the platform before deciding to upgrade. Plus, our 3-day refund policy means you can try Full Hookup risk-free.
Can I pause my subscription?
Pausing is not currently available. If you need a break, you can cancel from your Dashboard and re-subscribe later when you’re ready. Your account data and forum history will be preserved.
Can I get a prorated refund on my yearly plan?
Prorated refunds for yearly plans are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support to discuss your situation and we’ll work with you to find a fair resolution.
What happens to my data when I downgrade to Base Camp?
Your account, forum posts, and profile are preserved. You don’t lose any data. However, you lose access to Full Hookup features (exclusive boards, map pin, unlimited job views, portal downloads, premium listings, and priority support). If you re-subscribe later, everything will be there waiting for you.
