Job Duties Crops/Commodities: asparagus, beans, cabbage, cattle, Christmas trees, corn, cucumbers, hay/straw, lettuce, trees, onions, pumpkins, squash, tomatoes, zucchini. Primary duties (performed the majority of workdays): Detassel corn. Walk through fields and pull tassel off plants as directed. Rogue corn and remove off-type plants. Perform manual and mechanized tasks associated with the outdoor production of horticultural products.
