Heavy and Tractor-Trailer Truck Drivers

Job Duties Workers must be able to drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,001 pounds gross vehicle weight. Workers must be able to drive long distances and perform duties attendant to driving, such as fueling and logging activities. Workers must adhere strictly to traffic laws and DOT regulations. Workers must be able to load, secure, and unload a truck. Workers may perform other tasks and duties under SOC Code 53-3032. Related duties may be assigned. Work is performed outdoors in highly varied weather conditions and in commercial motor vehicles.…
