Job Description
Volunteers needed in 6th grade Environmental Education Program 10/4/26 thru 4/3/27. This is a full 6-month position. Selection Priority is given to couples, but singles will also be considered. Main duty is to assist Park Rangers during curriculum-based environmental field trips to the preserve with student groups and occasionally lead groups if needed. This includes helping with group management, safety, and assisting students with the use of scientific equipment. Groups hike through cypress swamps, prairies and pinelands. For much of the season the hike will be in knee-deep water.…
