General Motors is ending production of its Silverado medium-duty trucks, closing the chapter on the 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD models that returned Chevrolet to the larger commercial truck market less than a decade ago. The trucks are not the same as the consumer-focused Silverado 1500, 2500HD, or 3500HD pickups.
