What Is a File Portal?
A File Portal is a private, secure space where a WorkCampConnect admin can share files with you. You can download files, upload your own, and exchange messages — all within your portal.
Accessing Your Portal
You'll receive a link and an 8-character password from the admin. Visit the link and enter your password to log in.
If You Have a WorkCampConnect Account
If your portal is linked to the same email address as your WorkCampConnect account, you get extra convenience:
- Auto-login: If you're already signed into WorkCampConnect, visiting your portal link logs you in automatically — no password needed
- Dashboard card: Your portal appears as a card on your member Dashboard for quick access
- Use your WCC password: You can enter your WorkCampConnect account password on the portal login page (your portal password also still works)
- Back to Dashboard: A sticky bar at the top lets you navigate back to the main site
If You Don't Have an Account
No problem — you don't need a WorkCampConnect account to use a File Portal. Just use the link and password provided to you.
Forgot Your Password?
- Click "Send a new one" on the login page
- A new password will be emailed to you immediately
- Your old password stops working once a new one is sent
- If you're a WCC member, you can always use your account password instead
What You Can Do
- Download individual files or all files at once (ZIP download)
- Upload files back to the admin (up to 10 MB each)
- Send messages through the built-in message thread
- Organize your uploads into categories
