How to Create Your WorkCampConnect Account

Creating Your Account

Creating a WorkCampConnect account is free and only takes a few minutes. Follow these steps to get started.

Step 1 — Visit the Registration Page

Go to workcampconnect.com/register and you will see the account creation form.

Step 2 — Fill in Your Details

Enter your first name, last name, a unique username, your email address, a secure password, and a valid mobile phone number (US or Canada).

Phone number is required. WorkCampConnect requires a phone number for every new account — it’s used to verify your identity instantly by text message and to protect against fraudulent signups. Your number is never shown to other members and is never sold or shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy (Section 6) for full details on how phone numbers are handled.

Important: Your username is your permanent public identity in the community — it cannot be changed after registration. Usernames are automatically screened for appropriateness. Choose something you will be happy with long-term! See Username & Display Name Rules for full details on what is and isn't allowed.

Step 3 — Agree to Terms

Check the boxes to agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and confirm you are 16 or older.

Step 4 — Verify Your Account

After submitting the form, you’ll receive a 6-digit verification code by text message. Enter the code on the verification screen to activate your account instantly.

You will also receive a verification email from [email protected]. If you prefer, you can click the link in that email instead of entering the SMS code — either method activates your account. If you don’t see the email, check your spam or junk folder.

Step 5 — You're In!

Once verified, you will be welcomed to the platform and your 7-day Full Hookup free trial begins automatically — no credit card required. You can start exploring the community forum, member map, and job board right away. After 7 days, your account moves to the free Base Camp tier with no obligation, unless you choose to upgrade.
